The Flegg High School International Sports and Performing Arts Festival is an annual event, involving all the local community. The event has grown from strength to strength, but has been scaled down over recent years. Since its evolution back in 1989, we have welcomed guests from a variety of schools, including: Poland, France, Wales & Denmark.

The Festival is run by the PE Department and spans across a week of activites. Past sporting guest have included the likes of Solomon Wariso, Du’aine Ladejo, Mark Richardson, Dalton Grant, John Ridgeon, Todd Bennett, Debbie Martin.

The festival offers a variety of events and allows our pupils and local community to experience the culture of those in foreign countries. We do however owe a debt of gratitude and thanks to Pontins at Hemsby, for kindly providing the accommodation for us. Without the support of local businesses and other organisations like the St. John’s Ambulance Service, we would not be able to hold such an event.
